Handcrafted in Bali using traditional techniques, the Loka Chair celebrates natural materials, quiet craftsmanship, and timeless form.

Each chair is woven by hand using sun-dried banana leaf, carefully prepared and twisted to create a dense, tactile weave with subtle variations in tone and texture. No two pieces are exactly alike — the natural markings of the leaf give each chair its own character and warmth.

The woven seat and back are wrapped directly onto a solid, kiln-dried teak frame, offering a balance of natural spring, comfort, and lasting strength. The organic nature of banana leaf gives the chair a gently responsive feel, while the teak structure keeps the form grounded and durable for everyday use.

Designed primarily for dining spaces, the Loka Chair also works beautifully in a living room or open-plan interior when styled as an accent piece — paired with a side table, layered textiles, or soft lighting to highlight its sculptural presence.

Shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in a small Balinese workshop, production is deliberately limited, making each piece a rare example of traditional craft carried forward with care.
