Crafted by hand from solid Sungkai wood, the Giri Media Unit is a quiet statement in natural craftsmanship and proportion. Designed as a one-off piece rather than a repeatable product, it balances practical media storage with the warmth and character of handmade furniture.

Every surface is shaped from solid timber — never MDF — with vertical fluting carefully formed and installed by hand. The natural grain and tonal variation of Sungkai wood are left visible, allowing the material to speak for itself and ensuring no two angles feel the same. Circular rear cut-outs and an open central bay keep cables discreet and devices easily accessible, without disrupting the cabinet’s clean lines.

Built in a small workshop in Bali using traditional joinery techniques, the Giri cabinet reflects a slower, more deliberate approach to furniture making. Each piece is produced individually, not mass-manufactured, finished with care, and dispatched from the UK. 

Equally suited to a living space, media room, or open-plan interior, Giri brings texture and restraint to modern settings while pairing naturally with softer, organic materials.

Designed as. a low media cabinet, Giri can also be styled as a side unit beneath artwork or shelving, allowing it to adapt as interiors evolve.
