FRAGMENTS OF BECOMING

A meditation on transformation, memory, and impermanence.

Emerging through layers of colour, texture, and gesture, the figure exists in a state of continual transition. Forms appear and dissolve across the surface, resisting certainty and inviting a more intuitive engagement with the work.

The composition moves fluidly between abstraction and representation, creating a visual language that is both physical and emotional. Marks become traces of movement, while fragmented passages suggest the accumulation of experience, memory, and change.

Rather than presenting a fixed image, the work explores the idea of becoming — the ongoing process through which identity is shaped, challenged, and redefined. Rich in atmosphere and energy, the painting captures a fleeting moment where form, emotion, and movement converge.

Balancing strength with vulnerability, the piece invites reflection on what remains visible, what disappears, and what continues to evolve beneath the surface.
