A meditation on transformation, identity, and the moments that redefine us.

Suspended between abstraction and figuration, the work captures a solitary figure emerging from a landscape of colour, light, and movement. Layers of expressive mark-making dissolve traditional boundaries, allowing the subject to exist simultaneously within the physical and the imagined.

Rather than depicting a fixed moment, the composition suggests a process of becoming. The figure appears caught between departure and arrival, certainty and possibility, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences of growth, change, and self-discovery.

Through its vibrant palette and fluid energy, the work balances vulnerability with strength. It is less concerned with documenting reality than exploring the emotional spaces that exist beyond it, creating a visual narrative that feels both deeply personal and universally familiar.
